The World Wide Web contains over 3 billion documents - not surprising that we and students find it difficult to navigate! Pupils tend to use the first site they come across and use that, despite some of the information being inappropriate, either in terms of content or level.
These online lessons have been created to help pupils use the Internet without having to surf and find appropriate sites.
With an Online lesson selected sites are put up on the internet so that pupils do not have to waste time surfing or type in a web address, reducing error and focusing on the object of the task - to extract information.
